Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the processing of new agency appointments, terminations, and modifications as submitted by agents and regional marketing teams.
  • Ensure the maintenance of a comprehensive and accurate database of agency information, guaranteeing compliance with state regulations in our licensing operations.
  • Utilize the SIRCON automated system for processing licensing data, including background checks, resident and non-resident licenses, data synchronization, and report generation to uphold data integrity and compliance.
  • Respond promptly to licensing validation requests generated from our policy systems.
  • Oversee Licensing Compliance by updating Agents Inventory Profiles based on communications from agents.
  • Access state insurance department websites as necessary to fulfill duties in accordance with state regulations and to verify or amend agency and individual agent licenses.
  • Maintain an updated list of individuals licensed with our organization.
  • Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual payments related to licensing appointments, terminations, and renewals by state.
  • Propose enhancements for workflow procedures and the management of licensing processes.
  • Continuously document and refine Licensing forms, checklists, and operational procedures.
  • Stay informed on changes in licensing procedures through bulletins from insurance departments and maintain regular communication with them regarding complex issues.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned while adhering to all corporate policies and procedures.
Qualifications

Education: A High School Diploma or Equivalent is required; an Associate's Degree or coursework in Insurance is preferred.

Experience: A minimum of 2-4 years of experience, with at least 2 years in insurance licensing is preferred.

Compensation

$40,096 - $60,595

The final salary offered will reflect the candidate's experience, geographic location, education, certifications, responsibilities, and additional qualifications.

Additional Information:

This position is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt role eligible for overtime.
