Job Summary:

The Marketing Communications Specialist, Corporate supports the execution of marketing activities to enhance the company's brand awareness and overall marketing strategy.

This role involves assisting with content creation, distributing materials across multiple channels, supporting communication campaigns, and working closely with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging that aligns with business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support internal communication efforts by drafting and distributing engaging content such as newsletters, intranet, and employee announcements.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather and disseminate information, ensuring consistency and clarity in all communications.
  • Draft, edit, and proofread content for a variety of channels, ensuring high-quality and error-free materials.
  • Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive corporate communication activities and events that align with the company's objective.
  • Contribute to external communication activities, including press releases, website content, and social media updates.
  • Identify deadlines and manage workload accordingly, including prioritizing tasks, coordinating, and communicating activities with the MarCom team.
  • Demonstrate team player attitude and approach with internal and external customers across cultures, regions, and countries.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in corporate communications.
  • Attend training as needed or assigned.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, advertising, or a related field.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • 1-2 years of marketing communications or related marketing experience required; 3-4 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with digital communication tools.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to perform under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and make basic decisions regarding routine tasks.
  • Basic problem-solving skills.
  • Good personal computer skills.
  • Project management tool knowledge and experience preferred.
  • Canva or Adobe Creative Suite knowledge or experience preferred.
  • Ability to develop an understanding of Indium Corporation products and services.
  • Provide own source of transportation for any local/day travel, including travel between Indium Corporation facilities.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $19.50 per hour - $25.00 per hour, which translates to $40,500 - $52,000 annually.
