Job Overview

We are a leading national consulting firm that provides compassionate emergency management services to the public and private sectors before, during, and after natural disasters or catastrophic events.

Estimated Salary: $36-$38/hour

The Environmental and Debris Management Coordinator will lead and support environmental compliance and debris operations within disaster recovery projects. This role requires strong understanding of environmental regulations, permitting processes, and FEMA guidelines to effectively manage debris collection, reduction, disposal, and recycling activities.

About the Role
  • Assist with environmental permitting and contract compliance related to debris operations.
  • Support contractors and municipalities with Cultural and Archaeological Resource permitting and contract compliance.
  • Aid in wetland jurisdictional determinations, state land records, and additional environmental resource permitting requirements.
  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of debris collection, reduction, disposal, and recycling operations.

This position may involve deployment to disaster-affected areas with challenging environmental conditions and extended work hours.
