Job Title: Senior Systems Administrator

RBR Technologies is a leading provider of information and technology services, committed to delivering mission success to our customers. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join our team in Fort Meade, Maryland.

Job Summary

The Senior Systems Administrator will be responsible for providing support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems. This includes managing the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems, providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems, and optimizing system operations and resource utilization.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain IT systems, including configuration and operation of network devices, mobile devices, and other IT infrastructure.
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for IT systems, including problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
  • Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
  • Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, and install/loads operating system software.
  • Implement operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
  • Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets.
  • Support the design of systems, mission architecture, and associated hardware.
  • Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration.
Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph required to be considered.
  • Fifteen (15) years' experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Five (5) years' demonstrated experience in each of the following:
  • Information Assurance - In addition to systems-based operating systems, configure and manage virtual environments.
  • Information Technology - Patch systems based on state-of-the-art security and functional parameters.
