Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Specialist to join our team at our plasmapheresis clinic in Hillsboro, OR. As a Medical Specialist, you will play a crucial role in conducting initial triage and health assessments of potential blood donors for suitability to donate their plasma.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for a Medical Specialist to work in a fast-paced environment, conducting medical evaluations and assessments of potential blood donors. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of donors, while also identifying any potential risks or contraindications for donation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial triage and health assessments of potential blood donors
  • Evaluate donor medical history and conduct physical examinations as needed
  • Identify any potential risks or contraindications for donation and take appropriate action
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for donors
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Paramedic license and certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
