Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Correctional Care Specialist to join our team at the Maine Correctional Center. As a Correctional Care Specialist, you will work closely with residents to develop and implement individualized case management plans, providing coaching and support to help them achieve their goals and successfully reintegrate into society.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and gather background information to inform case management plans
  • Develop and update case management plans, including referrals to programs, jobs, education, and vocational programs
  • Track progress and maintain thorough documentation of case management plans
  • Provide coaching and support to residents, addressing obstacles and problem-solving
  • Collaborate with team members to modify case management and behavioral plans as needed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a strong understanding of case management principles and practices, as well as experience working in correctional care and treatment programs. A three-year combination of education, training, and/or experience is required.
