We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in a corrections setting. As a Corrections Nurse, you will provide high-quality medical care to inmates, ensuring their health and well-being while in our custody.
Key Responsibilities- Provide non-emergency medical services during daily sick call in jail
- Examine inmates as needed, dispense treatment, and administer medications and injections
- Coordinate medical needs of inmates with jail providers and work with providers to assess and treat medical conditions
- Assess medical needs and evaluate medical requirements of inmates
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- OR any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills and knowledge to perform the essential functions of the job
- Possession of an Oregon State Registered Nurse license by date of hire
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- One year of experience in a hospital or physician's office, preferably in ICU, medical/surgical, or emergency room settings
