Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive assessments, develop plans of care, and initiate interventions for patients in the Pre-Admissions Testing Clinic.
- Lead and coordinate interprofessional activities, focusing on clinical practice, consultation, education, and research.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and safety.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.
- Provide education and training to professional students, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Serve as a preceptor and mentor to new staff members.
- Participate in departmental and hospital-wide committees to advance clinical practice and patient care.
- Master's degree in Nursing and Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioners program.
- Three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a multi-specialty practice.
- Progressive management experience preferred.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas or Compact State Licensure within 60 days.
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification in a relevant specialty.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Prescriptive Authority and DEA license within 6 months.
