Key Responsibilities
Your main duties will include:
- Conducting quantity takeoffs and entering data into estimating software.
- Soliciting and reviewing vendor and subcontractor quotations.
- Analyzing current material pricing levels and estimating addenda as necessary.
- Participating in site visits and attending project meetings.
- Drafting and submitting proposal documents and following post-bid procedures.
- Engaging in weekly estimating team meetings and performing additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A strong understanding of electrical construction and theory, typically acquired through relevant training or education.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficient analytical skills for conceptual estimates and financial assessments.
