Job Title: Service Center Manager

Cirrus Design Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Center Manager to oversee all maintenance operations at our Factory Service Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a culture of service excellence and ensuring the repair station's continued compliance with all applicable local, State, and Federal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day maintenance operations and support functions.
  • Maintain compliance with Environmental Health & Safety guidelines and all Federal, State, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement long-term and short-term goals and objectives in conjunction with Cirrus Services Leadership.
  • Lead site 5S activities and the implementation of lean processes.
  • Utilize daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs and targeted operational objectives to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure timely communication to owners regarding aircraft maintenance status.
  • Champion and provide for the development of all team members.
  • Identify and mentor future leaders.
  • Ensure all personnel are properly trained in safety practices and procedures.
  • Ensure technicians use appropriate technical data during maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alterations.
  • Ascertain qualifications of all technical employees prior to work assignment.
  • Provide direction and technical guidance on complex issues.
  • Ensure the facility, shop equipment, and tools are maintained in a clean, orderly, and organized manner.
  • Ensure all maintenance or alteration processes are appropriately completed and documented on maintenance forms.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management or Aviation Maintenance Technologies and 4 years of experience in aviation maintenance, or 8 years of combination of education and experience in aircraft maintenance MRO operations.
  • Minimum 7 years of aircraft maintenance experience required.
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant required.
  • 2 years of prior experience in a leadership capacity within the aviation industry related to aircraft maintenance preferred.
  • FAA Inspection Authorization preferred.
