Overview:

Parker Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team.

About the Role:

The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facility, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a full range of housekeeping services to maintain the grounds, furnishings, equipment, and facility.
  • Maintain cleaning schedules for assigned areas and coordinate routine/terminal isolation procedures with Nursing Services.
  • Report all unsafe/hazardous conditions, defective equipment, etc. to supervisor immediately.
  • Honor residents' personal and property rights and file complaints/grievances with supervisor in a timely fashion.

Requirements:

  • Thorough understanding of safe and effective housekeeping practices within the State of Indiana.
  • Ability to work as a team player and partner with other departments.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
