Job Title: Line Cook

Atlas Restaurant Group is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to the highest standards of quality and presentation. This includes setting up and stocking workstations, executing menu items from start to finish, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook menu items to order, ensuring high-quality presentation and flavor.
  • Set up and stock workstations with minimal supervision, ensuring all necessary ingredients and equipment are available.
  • Work collaboratively with the culinary team to prepare and develop new menu items, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Participate in regular and deep cleaning of kitchen areas, including refrigeration, cooking equipment, and prep areas.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to speak, comprehend, and understand English.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • 2 years of related high-volume experience.
  • Passion for food and cooking, with a strong work ethic and dedication to excellence.
  • Dependability, reliability, and responsibility, with a commitment to fulfilling obligations.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong task and time management abilities.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 30+ pounds.
