Job Title: Construction Superintendent

Cape Associates Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate daily tasks and prioritize projects to meet deadlines and budget requirements.
  • Delegate responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Manage and mentor employees, subcontractors, and vendors, promoting a safe and productive work environment.
  • Provide adequate resources to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, and safety needs.
  • Emphasize safe use of tools, machinery, and equipment, providing training on safety gear and procedures.
  • Assist company leadership with project staffing projections, staff oversight, and staff development.
  • Manage projects of any size, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget parameters.
  • Nurture and develop relationships with clients, architects, and engineers, expanding your professional network.
  • Deliver high-quality products while maintaining strict adherence to budget parameters.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of prior experience in construction management or a related field.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Own a full set of tools and equipment.
  • OSHA 10, OSHA 30, and Construction Supervisor License.
  • Ability to lift 80 pounds and work in harsh weather conditions.
  • Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 80 pounds.
  • Physically fit and able to perform various tasks, including standing, climbing, lifting, walking, reaching, and crawling.
