About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at JAG Physical Therapy. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify their strengths and weaknesses, and develop personalized treatment plans to address their needs.
  • Implement and execute treatment plans, utilizing a range of techniques and modalities to promote patient recovery and independence.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their support systems to empower them to manage their conditions and achieve their goals.
  • Document patient care data accurately and efficiently, adhering to regulatory guidelines and departmental standards.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, with a Doctorate degree preferred.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist, with valid CPR certification.
  • Experience working with electronic medical records (EMRs) and familiarity with departmental software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong clinical decision-making skills, with the ability to adapt to changing patient needs and priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
