Job Title: Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Student Services team at Spring Lake Park Schools. The successful candidate will provide direct occupational therapy services to students and consultation services to employees and parents throughout the district.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Screen and evaluate students referred to occupational therapy in areas such as fine motor coordination, perceptual motor control, and sensory integration.
  • Consult with teachers and parents regarding motor activities, self-help skills, and special equipment/assistive devices.
  • Maintain accurate records of students evaluated and served in the occupational therapy program.
  • Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and periodic reviews to assess programming and reevaluation decisions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy or related area.
  • Licensure from the Minnesota Department of Health in Occupational Therapy.
  • National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
