Seattle Children's Hospital is thrilled to present an exceptional opportunity for a Pediatric Cardiology Specialist to become part of our practice serving the Alaskan community.

For over 25 years, our dedicated team, comprising healthcare providers, registered nurses, sonographers, and administrative personnel, has been committed to delivering outstanding care and fostering positive patient experiences while embracing diversity, equity, and inclusion for all individuals in Alaska.

This two-provider practice is located in Anchorage, with travel options available for same-day or overnight visits to our nine outreach locations across the state.

As a member of the Heart Center's multidisciplinary team, our specialists enjoy around-the-clock access to a wide range of pediatric specialties, from prenatal consultations to comprehensive cardiac care for young adults.

This regional cardiology role in Alaska offers a unique blend of independence and community engagement, allowing you to make a significant impact while benefiting from the extensive support and resources of a large academic institution.

This position is characterized by its variability, presenting opportunities for community outreach, fetal cardiology, and travel to satellite clinics throughout the region.

Position Type: Full-time

Compensation: $424,634 - $472,496 annually.

Required Qualifications:

  • MD Degree.
  • Membership and appropriate clinical privileges at Seattle Children's and other relevant sites.

Necessary Credentials:

  • Licensed as a Physician in the State of Alaska.
  • Board eligibility or certification in Pediatrics by the American Academy of Pediatrics, or relevant specialty.
  • Federal DEA Registration.
  • Must obtain and maintain medical or allied health professional staff privileges prior to employment commencement.
  • All medical and allied health professional staff members are provisional for the first year.

Salary Information: This compensation range is based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by various factors, including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the stated range.
