Position Overview
Provider Solutions & Development is in search of a dedicated and experienced Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician. This role is ideal for a full or part-time Fellowship trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible MFM specialist who is eager to contribute to a well-established practice.
Practice Details
The practice primarily focuses on outpatient services, providing daytime coverage for hospital consultations and consultative services during nights and weekends. Weekend call responsibilities are shared among several MFM specialists. Our comprehensive, referral-based practice offers a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient services, including advanced prenatal diagnostic procedures such as ultrasounds, amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling (CVS), fetal echocardiography, and intrauterine interventions.
Work Schedule
The typical workweek is structured from Monday to Friday, with hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, encompassing 32 patient-facing hours weekly. The selected candidate will collaborate with an experienced MFM physician, a genetic counselor, two OB-certified sonographers, an RN case manager, a certified medical assistant, and additional support staff.
Clinical Environment
The MFM clinic is accredited by the AIUM for all obstetric examinations and fetal echocardiography, utilizing state-of-the-art GE E10 ultrasound machines with Viewpoint software. Our practice is supported by the only Level III NICU in the state, providing 24-hour specialized care for premature and high-risk infants, as well as the most critically ill full-term infants. On-site pediatric surgery, cardiology, anesthesia, and radiology services enhance our comprehensive care capabilities.
