Job Overview:

This role is essential in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our residents in accordance with established protocols and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring compliance with the Nurse Practice Act and agency procedures.
2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, monitoring patient responses and adjusting care as necessary.
3. Maintain accurate clinical documentation reflecting the residents' conditions and care provided.
4. Supervise and guide nursing assistants and other support staff in delivering patient care.
5. Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans based on resident assessments.
6. Coordinate nursing care for residents undergoing therapy or other medical procedures.
7. Engage in ongoing communication with patients and their families, providing education and support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid Practical Nurse license in the state of Florida.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (CPR) is required.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Preferred: One year of experience in a long-term care setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
