Traffic Analysis Project Manager at DRMP

The Traffic Analysis Project Manager will play a crucial role in directing traffic studies, evaluations, and modeling efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee traffic engineering studies and impact assessments for designated projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Promote the DRMP brand through strategic business development initiatives across various states.
  • Ensure technical quality control on traffic studies conducted for the private sector.
  • Assist marketing teams with project pursuits, presentations, and client interviews.
  • Manage both publicly and privately funded projects, maintaining high technical quality standards.
  • Prepare project fee proposals while monitoring costs, schedules, and overall performance.
  • Supervise Project Managers, Associates, and Interns to ensure project success.
  • Collaborate with other service areas to foster a comprehensive understanding of project design disciplines.
  • Guide and mentor staff to support their professional growth.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 7-10+ years of experience in managing public and private sector projects.
  • Proven experience in overseeing projects and conducting traffic studies.
  • Established relationships with private sector clients.
  • Willingness to travel and deliver presentations.
  • Professional Engineering licensure is preferred.
  • Familiarity with technical analysis standards and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Synchro, SIDRA, and the MS Office Suite.
  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and equipped with strong problem-solving abilities.
