Surgical Technologist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Duke Health Integrated Practice. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing direct and indirect care to patients in our operating room.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pull all necessary equipment and supplies for surgeries, surgeon specific
  • Set up surgical field and maintain sterility at all times
  • Clean instruments after surgery
  • Clean and set up OR for next surgery
  • Sterilize instruments and put away sterile instruments
  • Clean exam rooms
  • Stock exam rooms
  • Alert team members if supply stock is low
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or the successful completion of the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) certification exam
  • Level I- Entry level position for new graduates of Surgical Technology program or Surgical Technologists with 0 to 18 months experience
  • Level II- Requires 6 to 12 months of full time equivalent Surgical Technology or relevant military experience
Work Schedule:

The schedule for this position is 8 to 10 hour shifts Tuesday through Friday starting at 6:30am. Less than 20 hours per week.
