At Equus Workforce Solutions, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our clinical assessment team, you will play a vital role in helping individuals navigate their career paths and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and reassessments to identify customer functional limitations and make functional capacity outcome determinations.
  • Review medical and health-related documents, as well as prior documentation, to inform assessment decisions.
  • Use bio psychosocial assessments, motivational interviewing techniques, and SSA assessment of disabilities to inform assessment decisions.
  • Collaborate with service track staff to interpret clinical assessment findings and develop effective service plans.
  • Participate in team meetings to evaluate and improve clinical assessment processes and provide input on clinical assessment form design.
Requirements:
  • Must be a licensed or certified health professional, such as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
  • Four years of clinical assessment experience, including review of documents, bio psychosocial assessments, and SSA assessment of disabilities.
  • Exceptional customer service and engagement skills, with training or experience in motivational interviewing and care management techniques.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with publicly-funded programs, with TANF experience preferred.
