Job Overview

Kimberly-Clark is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Co-op to join our team. As a co-op, you will have the opportunity to apply your technical training in an industrial environment or work as an integral part of a project team during planning, installation, documentation, and start-up of an ongoing project.

Our co-ops develop a broad understanding of mechanical engineering practices necessary to support high-speed automated manufacturing processes. Opportunities exist in research offices, manufacturing facilities, and within different business groups.

Job Accountabilities
  • Produce detail for design and development assignments.
  • Develop knowledge and skills of/for engineering detail.
  • Carry out job responsibilities in a safe manner.
  • Maintain security and documentation.
  • Assist in development of solutions and alternatives to assigned problems/opportunities.
  • Contribute to an environment in which all team members are respected.

Strong oral and written communication skills are imperative. Understanding of basic statistics and computer usage experience is desirable.

Qualifications
  • GPA: 3.0 cumulative and completion of 1-1/2 years of college courses.
  • Students should bring an unofficial copy of their transcripts to the interview.
  • Previous Co-op experience is a plus.
  • Applicants must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. on a regular, full-time basis.

Co-op/intern positions are not eligible for sponsorship and the successful candidate must be eligible for employment in the United States without KC's sponsorship now or in the future.
