We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Registration Representative to join our team at R1 RCM Inc. As a Patient Registration Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth registration process for our patients, providing exceptional customer service, and working collaboratively with our clinical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Registration and Intake: Work on computers and answer phones to intake information in a fast-paced environment, collecting details accurately and efficiently.
- Patient Support: Provide emotional support and empathy to patients who may be ill or worried, listening carefully to ease their anxiety and build rapport in real-time.
- Registration Process: Assist patients in completing their registration, often on your feet, while collecting patient and insurance information, and navigating variations in health plans and coverage.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our clinical teams, relying on a supportive team environment to achieve career goals.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Customer Service Experience: Excellent customer service experience, with a focus on providing empathetic and compassionate support to patients.
