Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Michigan Institute of Urology. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our urology team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage daily patient workflow for the urology Nurse Practitioner
  • Review patient charts prior to appointment to ensure proper medical information has been provided
  • Room patients, collect vitals, and accurately document medical information in EMR
  • Assist with procedures such as cystoscopies, biopsies, and catheter removals
  • Provide patient education and support
Requirements
  • High School graduate or GED; Medical Assistant certificate preferred
  • 1 year of medical assistant office experience demonstrating competency is preferred for those without a MA Certificate
  • LPN 2 years of experience required
  • Basic computer knowledge and skills
