Job Summary

Cherry Health is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and complete necessary paperwork
  • Take vital signs and document information in the electronic medical records system
  • Assist with examinations and procedures, and complete necessary cleanup
  • Implement provider orders, including immunizations, testing, and lab specimens
  • Manage clinic flow for assigned providers and prepare charts for visits
  • Retrieve and distribute results to healthcare providers, laboratories, and medical records as directed
Requirements
  • Certification or completion of coursework in medical assisting, or equivalent experience
  • Basic typing skills and ability to use computer software systems
  • Basic Life Support/CPR training, certification, or ability to become certified
