Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Calibration Specialist to join our team at Micro Precision. As a key member of our calibration team, you will be responsible for maintaining, testing, and calibrating a variety of instruments and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-evaluation and inspections to ensure all customer equipment is in good working condition.
  • Perform calibration and maintenance tasks on a wide range of instruments, including electrical, mechanical, and dimensional equipment.
  • Ensure that all calibration procedures are followed and that accurate records are maintained.
  • Collaborate with other technicians to ensure seamless calibration processes.
  • Analyze data and generate reports to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Transport instruments and equipment to and from customer facilities, ensuring they are properly secured and protected.
  • Notify management and customers of any issues or concerns related to instrument calibration or maintenance.
  • Ensure that all calibration certificates and reports are accurate and complete.
  • Verify reported results and ensure that all calibration procedures are followed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as electronics, instrumentation, or mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in electronics calibration or a related field.
  • Knowledge of calibration procedures, uncertainty computation, and computer applications.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
