Construction Superintendent Position at Landsea HomesKey Responsibilities:
  • Manage the comprehensive home building process from inception to completion.
  • Organize and schedule all contractors and subcontractors throughout each construction phase.
  • Facilitate pre-construction meetings with subcontractors before critical construction milestones.
  • Conduct daily quality inspections and walkthroughs of all site activities.
  • Maintain regular communication with project sales teams, customer service representatives, and homebuyers.
  • Evaluate, authorize, and process all invoices from subcontractors and material suppliers.
  • Prepare new homes for Pre-Carpet and conduct complete New Home Orientation Training.
  • Implement a Safety Program in accordance with Corporate Policy.
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Superintendent in the residential construction sector.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and interpreting construction plans.
  • Maricopa County Dust Control Certification is mandatory.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
  • Strong capacity to delegate, execute, and monitor tasks effectively.
Physical Demands:

This role encompasses both office and field duties. Candidates must be capable of operating a motor vehicle, ascending stairs/ladders, navigating active job sites, and lifting objects exceeding 25 pounds.

Supervisory Duties:

This position involves direct supervision of assistant superintendents, laborers, subcontractors, and vendors on-site.

Safety Considerations:

This role includes responsibilities that may impact safety and health. Safety training will be provided by the organization.

Travel Expectations:

Occasional travel may be necessary. A valid driver's license and vehicle insurance are required.
