Position Overview

The Department of English, Comparative Literature, and Linguistics at California State University is currently seeking applications for its Part-Time Lecturer Pool. We are looking for qualified, organized, and student-focused individuals to teach a variety of courses in the following areas:

Qualifications Required

Applicants for introductory courses must possess at least a Master's degree in a relevant field. For upper-division courses (300- or 400-level), a Ph.D. or substantial professional experience is necessary. Candidates should demonstrate effective interaction with a diverse student body, including first-generation college students.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to those with prior teaching experience at the collegiate level and who can provide evidence of effective teaching practices. Candidates with experience working with diverse populations and fostering an inclusive learning environment will also be prioritized. Relevant professional experience and capabilities are highly valued.
