Job Summary:

As a Cottage Supervisor with Crittenton Services for Children and Families, you will oversee daily activities in assigned cottages, ensuring the well-being and safety of youth in our care. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as you will supervise program staff, provide training and guidance, and maintain a professional environment that aligns with our agency's policies and licensing regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train program staff to ensure continuity of care and accountability of services.
  • Provide weekly supervision and performance documentation to staff.
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of Prevention of Sexual Abuse (PSA) and Sexual Harassment standards, evidence-based practices, and trauma-informed care.
  • Demonstrate effective Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and maintain vigilant supervision of youth.
  • Transport youth to appointments, recreation activities, and other events as needed.
  • Prepare accurate and timely documentation.
  • Set clear goals for staff and provide regular performance feedback.
  • Maintain a professional environment that aligns with our agency's policies and licensing regulations.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (paid at a higher rate) or alternative minimum qualifications established by California Department of Social Services and/or the Office of Refugee Resettlement.
  • Experience working with immigrant or refugee populations strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) and valid California driver's license required.
  • Ability to complete and maintain required certifications and training, including Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and First Aid/CPR.

Salary Range:
$44,782 - $49,261
