Position: E-Commerce Procurement Specialist

ROLE SUMMARY:

The E-Commerce Procurement Specialist will be tasked with developing assortment frameworks, purchasing strategies, and executing plans for designated categories and brands. This is an in-house role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with the Divisional Merchandise Manager (DMM) to implement strategies aimed at maximizing profitability and sales through performance analysis of items, reporting directly to the DMM with support from an Assistant Team member.
  • Assist in defining the assortment strategy for assigned categories; analyze business metrics to identify trends, monitor sell-through rates, and ensure sales targets are achieved.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for vendors and service providers.
  • Provide proactive updates on project statuses, highlighting any concerns with meticulous attention to detail.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in buying, planning, or merchandising is essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Detail-oriented with the capacity to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic.
  • Exceptional critical thinking, decision-making, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Effective time management skills to balance priorities efficiently.
  • Curiosity and a desire to continuously learn about the industry.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel (including V-lookups, pivot tables, and formulas), and Outlook.
