E-Commerce Procurement Associate

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Procurement Associate is tasked with developing assortment frameworks, purchasing strategies, and executing plans for designated categories and brands. This is an in-house role.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with the Divisional Merchandise Manager (DMM) to implement strategies aimed at maximizing profitability and sales through performance analysis; report directly to the DMM with support from an Assistant Team member.

• Assist in defining the assortment strategy for assigned categories; analyze business reports to identify trends, sell-through rates, and ensure targets are achieved.

• Serve as the primary liaison with vendors and service providers.

• Proactively communicate project status in real-time, addressing concerns with meticulous attention to detail.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree required.

• 3-5 years of experience in buying, planning, or merchandising is essential.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with organizational and time management abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and apply new technologies.
  • Detail-oriented with the capability to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
  • Excellent critical thinking, decision-making, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  • Adept at multitasking and adjusting to shifting priorities.
  • Effective time management skills to balance priorities efficiently.
  • Curiosity and a continuous desire to learn about the environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel (including V-lookups, pivot tables, and formulas), and Outlook.
