Job Title: Technical Expert

The Technical Expert is a key member of our team, responsible for delivering high-quality airborne and terrestrial derived data in support of topographic survey grade mapping projects. This role requires a strong understanding of surveying and mapping practices, as well as exceptional communication skills and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pre-project planning and estimation
  • Processing of source data
  • Utilization of production software, including DAT/EM, Microstation, Global Mapper, TopoDOT, ArcGIS, and Google Earth
  • Aerial Triangulation and stereoscopic compilation of data to client standards
  • Quality Control and Assurance of technical data to client standards and map accuracy standards
  • Coordination with production teams and disparate departments
  • Submission and/or certification of project deliverables
  • Update and/or creation of internal production and status reports
  • Creation and refinement of workflow and methodology standardization
  • Communication with project and production resources
  • Troubleshoot and resolve accuracy or technical issues
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a geospatial field with concentration on surveying, geomatics, or GIS
  • Professional certification in Photogrammetry or other mapping science, or actively pursuing
  • 6+ years experience in a technical/professional environment
  • Process development and improvement experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Google Drive
  • Client relations experience
