Position Overview:

The Facilities Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and functionality of residential properties. This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the comfort and safety of residents while upholding the standards of the property management company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement:
    Actively support the vision and objectives of the property owner by ensuring that daily operations align with client expectations.
  • Comprehensive Maintenance:
    Implement and adhere to a structured maintenance program to guarantee the property remains in optimal condition. This includes:
    • Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance as outlined in the maintenance guidelines.
    • Maintaining the aesthetic appeal of the property in accordance with established standards.
  • Emergency Response:
    Provide on-call maintenance services during evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary, ensuring prompt attention to urgent issues.
  • Unit Preparation:
    Carry out maintenance checks and repairs on vacant units to ensure they are ready for new residents. Responsibilities include:
    • Coordinating painting and appliance installation/removal.
    • Ensuring all units meet the required standards before occupancy.
  • Equipment Management:
    Oversee the maintenance and organization of all tools and equipment used in property upkeep, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    Prepare properties for various inspections, ensuring adherence to all relevant housing standards and regulations.
  • Collaboration:
    Work effectively with local authorities, financial institutions, and community partners to facilitate smooth operations and project completion.
