Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison for the Mortgage Banker, coordinating communication between clients, internal teams, real estate agents, and title companies.
- Manage the Mortgage Banker's pipeline, collaborating with Processing, Underwriting, and Closing departments to ensure timely loan closures.
- Prepare mortgage applications and necessary disclosures for client signatures.
- Utilize the Encompass loan origination system to structure loans effectively.
- Review loan guidelines and assess borrower qualifications thoroughly.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to clients and referral partners.
- Exceed expectations of borrowers and real estate professionals by providing exceptional service.
- Engage in marketing initiatives to optimize the Mortgage Banker's CRM and past client relationships.
- Participate in all National Sales Meetings and attend various functions with Mortgage Banker(s) as needed.
- Assist in organizing events for the Bankers, such as realtor luncheons and client meet-and-greets.
Qualifications:
- Commitment to working in-office five days a week; this is not a remote position.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in the mortgage sector.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Mortgage Processing or as a Loan Officer Assistant.
- Proven experience in reviewing income, assets, and credit history.
- Familiarity with Encompass Loan Origination Software is highly preferred.
- Experience with DU/LP is strongly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Customer-focused mindset with a friendly and engaging personality.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Must possess a favorable background and credit standing.
