School-Based Speech Language Pathology Assistant

Soliant is seeking a qualified School-Based SLPA to support the delivery of speech and language therapy services to students in Bulverde, TX.
About the Job:
This is an onsite, full-time position with a varying caseload. As an SLPA, you will work closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to assist with assessments, implement therapy plans, and provide individual and group therapy sessions under their guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Therapy: Assist SLPs in conducting assessments and screenings of students with speech and language disorders, and implement therapy plans as directed by the SLP.
- Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups, adapting interventions to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Documentation and Collaboration: Document and track student progress, providing regular updates to the supervising SLP, and collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support students' communication needs in the classroom.
Qualifications:
- Education and Licensure: Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related field (Bachelors degree preferred), and current SLPA licensure or certification in Texas.
- Experience and Skills: Experience working with children in an educational or clinical setting is highly desirable, with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
