Position Overview

The ideal candidate for the Asset Protection role will play a crucial part in supporting all initiatives related to loss prevention, safety, and security aimed at protecting the company's assets. These assets encompass the property, infrastructure, fixtures, equipment, merchandise, supplies, cash, and most importantly, our workforce.

Daily Responsibilities...

  • Engage with building personnel in a courteous and professional manner while responding promptly to incidents involving loss prevention, safety, and security.
  • Act as a point of contact between incoming guests and warehouse personnel; greeting, screening, and confirming appointments as necessary.
  • Record details of vehicles entering or exiting the premises, verifying essential information for incoming deliveries, and coordinating with the receiving department to assign appropriate docking doors.
  • Supervise building and fire alarm systems to ensure proper responses and/or dispatching of personnel.
  • Handle incoming calls to the facility and direct them to the relevant extensions.
  • Utilize electronic walk-through metal detectors and handheld metal detectors as required.

  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Exceptional time management skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Composure when addressing safety concerns, including interactions with individuals exhibiting aggressive behavior.
