WorldStrides, a global leader in educational travel and experiential learning, is seeking an Embedded Regional Director to join our team. As a key member of our Higher Education division, you will work closely with Ohio University to provide high-quality educational travel programs for university students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise Ohio University students on education abroad opportunities, providing comprehensive support from initial interest to pre-departure and alumni engagement.
  • Work closely with internal members of the WorldStrides Higher Education sales team to support their responsibilities, including recruitment and retention events, student lead generation, and OGO advisor support.
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to increase partner engagement, collaborating with Ohio University's Office of Global Opportunities (OGO) and stakeholders across campus.
  • Support additional universities as needed, working collaboratively with WorldStrides internal teams and external university partners in the region.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Study Abroad or other international travel experience.
  • Public speaking, networking, and relationship-building skills.
  • Master's degree in a related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in the field of internal education (preferred).
  • Residence in Athens, Ohio, and ability to work on-campus at Ohio University.
  • Demonstrated experience in a multicultural setting.
  • Highly organized and strong time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and desire to learn new aspects of the International Education field.
  • Project management experience with ability to partner across teams.
  • 1-2 years proven ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.
