Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled professional to provide top-notch service to our clients, ensuring accurate and timely processing of their accounts and claims.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous service to insureds, account executives, and insurance companies regarding personal lines accounts and claims.
  • Assist in ensuring all procedures and insurance regulations are communicated to and adhered to by all employees within the department.
  • Understand and successfully use agency automation and follow all agency systems procedures and insurance company regulations.
  • Receive and process new business referrals, gather necessary information, and complete applications.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer files, checking and attaching various transactions as needed.
  • Review and process incoming mail, and order necessary renewals in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with insurance companies regarding claims, and follow up on the timely and accurate settlement of losses.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and questions regarding the status of losses.
  • Identify and report potential business practices that may lead to an E&O claim.
  • Attend training programs and meetings sponsored by the agency and/or companies.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
  • P & C Insurance License Required.
  • Experience with AMS 360 a plus.
  • Insurance experience preferred, preferably within an independent agency.
