We are seeking a highly organized and motivated insurance account manager to join our growing team at RPR Insurance. As an insurance account manager, you will be responsible for managing client communications, nurturing key relationships, and ensuring all necessary documentation is up-to-date.
Key Responsibilities:- Support clients in reporting claims on current policies by gathering all necessary documentation.
- Record policy updates or changes on customer accounts and communicate with clients to explain any updates to their coverage.
- Help create competitive quotes when it is time to issue renewals or make updates to a current policy.
- Provide helpful answers to clients on any policy or billing questions, including explanations of coverage or rate changes.
- Communicate regularly with key industry reps regarding industry standards, insurance products, current rates, coverages, insurance policies, and carriers.
- Start your day with a team huddle to set the tone for the day.
- Communicate with existing clients via email, phone, and text to answer questions about coverage, limits, claims, and other topics.
- Assist with updates to policies, such as adding a new driver or changing vehicles.
- Follow up with clients who have filed claims to ensure they are taken care of.
- Help existing clients understand their renewal pricing, changes, and updates.
- Insurance experience as an insurance agent or other position is highly preferred, but candidates with the appropriate skills should still apply.
- We are looking for candidates with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree, but will consider those with relevant insurance industry experience.
- Must have an active insurance license in your state or be willing to get licensed within 90 days.
- Follow-up skills, written and verbal communication skills, and problem-solving skills are a must in this role.
- Candidates should have basic computer skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Candidate must have 3+ years of experience in the insurance industry and experience in the IA Channel is highly desired.
