We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Mortgage Closing Coordinator to join our team at Tulsa Federal Credit Union. As a Mortgage Closing Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth closing process of mortgage loans.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Embody the Credit Union's core values of Trust, Integrity, Teamwork, and Making a Difference in all daily activities.
* Schedule loan closings and create required loan documents.
* Balance closing disclosure with title agents.
* Provide a preliminary quality control review of the loan, ensuring compliance with all RESPA and Reg. Z requirements.
* Distribute loan proceeds/fees to the correct GL accounts and maintain accurate records.
* Assist in resolving any outstanding issues that may delay closing, including gathering additional information from members, resolving title or other issues, and ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations.
* Upload loan information into the core system and verify accuracy for due dates and escrow payments.
* Maintain knowledge of and comply with applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
* Perform other duties as assigned and be available to work overtime as requested.
