The Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced After-School Program Facilitator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to speak fluent English and Mandarin, and have experience working with elementary and/or middle school kids. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading lessons designed to increase excitement about learning, assisting with homework completion and snack distribution, and ensuring student safety during outdoor activities.

About You

We are looking for a candidate who is able to connect with students and foster positive learning experiences. The ideal candidate will be able to improvise, adapt, and take initiative when needed, and be approachable, empathetic, patient, and able to build trust with kids. Additionally, the candidate must be comfortable utilizing online platforms for training and resources, and be able to collaborate seamlessly with school administrators, parents, and fellow coaches.

Requirements
  • Must be Bilingual in Mandarin and English
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States, complete and pass a Live-Scan background check, and TB screening
  • 1-2 years of working experience in education, coaching, child development, or other child-focused experiences strongly preferred
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Willing to follow COVID-19 protocols outlined by the school
