Job Summary

As a Clinical Nurse II - Critical Care at UNC Health Care, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and personal preferences.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in critical care nursing.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • One (1) year of nursing experience.
