Job Overview

Position Summary

The Apparel Printing Technician plays a crucial role within the apparel division, focusing on the operation of printing machinery and ensuring high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate Direct-to-Garment (DTG) and screen printing machines.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues as they arise.
  • Prepare garments for printing through pretreatment processes.
  • Conduct screen preparation tasks.
  • Utilize ladders and lifts for installation support.
  • Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment.
  • Manage the counting, folding, and packaging of finished apparel.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance service quality and operational effectiveness.
  • Adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Complete additional tasks as required to meet company objectives.

Education and Experience

Associate degree in a relevant field or a minimum of six months of related experience or training, or a combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and interpret business documents and technical manuals. Capable of effectively presenting information to various audiences.

Mathematical Skills

Proficient in basic mathematical operations.

Reasoning Skills

Ability to apply logical thinking to follow instructions in various formats.

Physical Requirements

This position is based in a manufacturing environment, which may involve exposure to machinery and noise. The following physical demands are necessary:

  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, or kneeling.
  • Manual dexterity for operating equipment.
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
