**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly motivated and career-driven individual to join our team as a Desktop Support Specialist in Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support for our clients' desktop operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide workstation software break-fix support to ensure minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
- Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, and Change) tasks, including PC installation, moves, adds, and changes, to maintain a seamless user experience.
- Load images onto workstations to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Manage asset recovery and tagging to maintain accurate inventory and reduce waste.
- Provide printer support and maintenance to ensure smooth printing operations.
- Offer support at the Client Center (Tech Bar) to provide a one-stop-shop for users' technical needs.
- Stay up-to-date with IT service management updates to ensure our clients receive the best possible support.
- Perform other client support duties as needed to maintain workstation operations and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Previous working experience in desktop support is desired, but training will be provided for all entry-level new hires.
- Knowledge of PC imaging and experience with change management and incident management.
- Experience with using tools such as ServiceNow, Bomgar, LapLink, and Secure Disk Wipe.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Dell Technician.
- Expertise in inventory control.
