Job Overview

The Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents.


Responsibilities
  • Conduct resident assessments and develop treatment plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Implement interventions and provide respiratory care to residents as needed.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.

Requirements
  • Current New York State Respiratory Therapist license.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Respiratory Therapist (2 years preferable).
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills.
  • Vaccinated against COVID-19.
