Daily Challenges:
One of the primary challenges in fulfillment center operations is enhancing the experience of FC associates by developing superior tools to streamline their tasks and resolve issues throughout the process.
FC associates manage tens of thousands of items, from receiving and storing to picking, packing, and shipping to our customers.

About Our Team:
Amazon Fulfillment Technologies (AFT) powers our global fulfillment network by inventing and delivering software, hardware, and data science solutions that synchronize processes, robots, machines, and people. We integrate the physical and virtual realms to ensure Amazon customers receive their orders promptly.
Platform Engineering and Services:
AFT's Platform Engineering and Services team utilizes data, process enhancement, and cutting-edge technologies to deliver exceptional engineering services and solutions across AFT's product offerings.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship)
- 2+ years of design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) for new and existing systems (non-internship)
- Proficiency in at least one programming language
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience across the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field

Our compensation reflects the labor costs across various US geographic markets. The base pay for this position varies based on market location and may differ depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
