Contract Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Contract Specialist to join our team in Romania. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing contracts, negotiating with clients, and ensuring that all contractual agreements are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review contract documents, including start-up agreements, work orders, and change orders.
  • Amend project budgets as required and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Direct client interaction, including communication with established contacts and provision of quality client deliverables.
  • Facilitate review and approval of contractual documents in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Cooperate with the finance team on ongoing budget changes and provide finance system load-ready budget tools.
  • Participate in contract review meetings with clients and internal customers.
  • Review client contractual templates and edit as necessary to ensure Parexel's positions are covered and to highlight areas of potential concern.
  • Ensure contracts with client edits received back from the client show all the appropriate changes.
  • Ensure contractual documents are processed into and maintained in relevant databases.
Requirements:
  • University degree in finance or business or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of contract management principles is a plus.
  • Experienced Excel user with experience working with formulas.
  • Highly organized with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Experience dealing with senior stakeholders.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in English, oral and written.
