At Access: Supports For Living, we are committed to helping individuals with developmental disabilities live their best lives. We are seeking a skilled Community Habilitation Worker to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide skill-building training and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. As a Community Habilitation Worker, you will work in the community and in the home to help individuals achieve their personal outcomes and growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide mentoring and teaching services to individuals with developmental disabilities to help them achieve personal outcomes and growth.
  • Teach daily living skills such as money handling, socialization, cooking, and job search.
  • Assist with hygiene functions and perform lifting as needed.
  • Work with individuals to identify and achieve their valued outcomes.
  • Meet with assigned individuals several times per week to provide support and guidance.
  • Travel to assigned locations to provide services.
  • Attend trainings as required.
  • Document services and report progress and barriers with each client.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and engagement skills.
  • Ability to document services and understand regulations.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish speaking a plus.
