Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to our staff, ensuring the seamless operation of our technological infrastructure, and collaborating with our team to troubleshoot problems and implement solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to staff, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Microsoft's business applications and operating systems.
  • Manage Active Directory, including moves, adds, changes, group policies, and organizational units.
  • Track and respond to all help desk activities, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
  • Interact with internal staff to help resolve IT-related issues and provide answers promptly.
  • Effectively perform a variety of other assignments and projects as may be required.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of work experience in an IT environment.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Windows Server OS.
  • Experience working with Virtualization technologies (VMWare, Citrix, etc.).
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues via phone, electronically, or in person.
  • Monitor help desk tracking system.
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment preferred.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels of staff within the organization.
  • Must be a flexible, energetic, and positive individual.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years' experience working in a healthcare environment.
  • A+, Net+, Sec +, MCSA, or MCSE certification.
  • Certifications such as ITIL or CCNA.
  • Experience with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance standards.
