Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical work in the maintenance, repair, and installation of a wide variety of machinery and electrical control apparatus throughout the facility.
  • Follow electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment.
  • Prepare requisitions for materials and supplies.
  • Prepare sketches showing location of wiring and equipment.
  • Maintain a safe, neat, and clean work area.

Required Tools and Equipment:

  • Cranes, ladders, manlifts, forklifts, measuring devices, electrical test equipment, conduit benders, cutters, threaders, soldering equipment, torches, welders, electrical, air, and hydraulic equipment, and various hand tools both powered and manual.
